Fine print that changes the math
- Minimum 1,000 points, in multiples of 1,000 — with reported exceptions: JetBlue moves in 250-point increments, Qantas from 500 points.
- U.S. airline transfers (Delta, JetBlue) carry an excise-tax offset fee of $0.0006 per point, capped at $99 (MR program terms).
- Transfers are irreversible; typical processing is reported around 48 hours, and some partners (ANA) run days slower.
