Who can transfer

- Bilt's own guidance says only "In most cases, transfers will be immediate, but please allow up to 48 hours for the transfer to be completed. For Southwest transfer, please allow up to 72 hours for the transfer to be completed" — program-wide, except the Southwest allowance it calls out by name. The per-partner times are community measurements from the two independent trackers that publish per-partner tables (Frequent Miler and AwardWallet's measured database), checked Sep 4, 2026. Upgraded Points' Bilt table restates Bilt's own guidance as a blanket "Almost Instantly" (plus the Southwest 72-hour line) rather than measuring per partner, so it is not counted as an independent column here. AwardWallet's numbers come from transfers they run themselves, but most Bilt pairs are unmeasured — which is why many rows rest on a single tracker. Frequent Miler's Bilt article carries a 2024 date stamp, so treat its per-partner times with extra caution. Where the trackers disagree, the table says so instead of picking a side. A reported time is not a guarantee — never rely on a fast transfer for a same-day award booking.

No longer true (what stale guides still say)
- Spirit Airlines Free Spirit was removed as a partner on 2026-05-02. Guides still listing it are out of date.
- American Airlines AAdvantage was removed as a partner on 2024-06-24. Guides still listing it are out of date.
- Spirit Airlines is no longer a Bilt partner — Spirit ceased operations on May 2, 2026, and Bilt’s own roster no longer lists it. Guides and tracker tables still carrying a Bilt→Spirit row are out of date; no transferable currency reaches Spirit any longer.
Fine print that changes the math
- Minimums are status-tiered, not card-tiered: 2,000 points for Blue status, 1,000 for Silver, Gold or Platinum — and “all transfers must be done in 1,000 point increments” (Bilt support page).
- Transfers are irreversible — Bilt: “Once points are transferred, they cannot be reversed.” Most are immediate, but Bilt says to allow up to 48 hours (Southwest up to 72).
- Bilt’s transfer bonuses run on Rent Day (the 1st of each month) as roughly one-day windows, often tiered by status and capped — if you see one, it will be gone by the 2nd.
