Cards that can transfer
Citi Double Cash · Citi Custom Cash
Both widely held Citi cards we catalog — Double Cash and Custom Cash — are non-premium ThankYou cards: they transfer at ratios roughly 30% worse than the premium tier shown below (1:0.7 on 1:1 airline partners). Only Strata Elite, Strata Premier and the closed Prestige get the full ratios.
Transfer bonus live now
20% to Air France-KLM Flying Blue: premium-tier 1,000 TYP → 1,200 miles; non-premium tier 1,000 TYP → 840 miles — ends 2026-08-22.
To Air France-KLM Flying Blue. Recorded 2026-07-19; reported by multiple independent outlets, not issuer-verified (the issuer's bonus page sits behind the account login) — confirm in your account before transferring.
Premium-tier cards land above 1:1 (1,200 miles per 1,000 points). Non-premium cards — including Double Cash and Custom Cash — get 840 per 1,000, still below 1:1.
- A transfer bonus is never a reason to move points speculatively: transfers are one-way and final. Move points only against a specific award you are booking now, priced at or above the currency's floor value.

No longer true (what stale guides still say)
- Aeromexico was removed as a ThankYou partner effective Jan 25, 2026. Several major guides still carry a stale Aeromexico row — it is not a partner.
- Aer Lingus is not a direct ThankYou partner (one tracker lists it, likely Avios-family confusion). Avios is reachable via Qatar Privilege Club instead.
- Choice Privileges devalued from 1:2 to 1:1.5 on Apr 19, 2026 — guides still printing 1:2 are out of date.
Fine print that changes the math
- Minimum 1,000 points, in 1,000-point increments (reported — Citi’s partner page sits behind a login).
- Two-tier ratios: premium ThankYou cards (Strata Elite, Strata Premier, Prestige) get the full ratios shown; non-premium cards — including Double Cash and Custom Cash — transfer roughly 30% worse (1:0.7 on 1:1 airline partners).
- The closed ThankYou Mastercard loses JetBlue transfers on Sep 20, 2026; other ThankYou cards are unaffected.
Where these facts come from
Citi publishes no publicly reachable ratio table (the ThankYou partner page requires a login), so the roster and ratios are the consensus of four independent outlets — reported, not issuer-verified. Roster source: thankyou.com, verified 2026-07-19. Card terms change constantly — confirm with the issuer before acting. How we verify facts.
