- Amex MR → British Airways Club (Avios): The rare above-par bonus: 1,300 Avios per 1,000 points, no registration, no bonus cap, and it repeats across transfers. One promotion covers British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus — but not Qatar Airways Privilege Club, the fourth Avios program on the roster.
- Amex MR → Iberia Club (Avios): Part of the same Amex promotion as the British Airways bonus — 1,300 Avios per 1,000 points through Sep 27. Qatar Airways Privilege Club is not included.
- Amex MR → Aer Lingus AerClub: Part of the same Amex promotion as the British Airways bonus — 1,300 Avios per 1,000 points through Sep 27. Qatar Airways Privilege Club is not included.
- Capital One → Japan Airlines Mileage Bank: Even with the 30% bonus, 1,000 Capital One miles become 975 JAL miles — still below 1:1. Brand-new JAL Mileage Bank accounts may face a waiting period before redeeming (reports disagree on its length). Bilt transfers to JAL at 1:1 with no bonus needed.
- Amex MR → Hilton Honors: The bigger point pile can still be worth less: a Hilton point is worth far less than an MR point, so even at 1:2.6 the 2,600 Hilton points can be worth less in dollars than the 1,000 MR given up. Transfer only against a specific priced stay that beats the cash rate — compare in dollars, not point counts.
- A transfer bonus is never a reason to move points speculatively. Transfers are one-way and final; move points only against a specific award you are booking now, at or above the currency's floor value.
